Multi-Oil for horses from Italy. Rich of Omega 3 and 6 for an improvement of the muscular activities, well-being and a shiny coat. Oil For Horses contains a high quantity of oils, able to transmit insaturated fats, rich of energy. The rice oil (olio di riso), the wheat germ oil (olio di germe di grano) and the oenothera oil (olio di oenothera) contribute to an improvement of the performance of the athletic horse. The active ingredient of the rice oil is gamma orizanol, a precious ergogenic* aid, capable of strengthening the fysical activities and produce energy. Besides that, it is shown that the gamma orizanolo augments the production of testosteron and therefore of the low fat body mass. The wheat germ oil and oenothera oil that form part of Oil For Horses are particularly rich of poli-insaturated fats, like Omega 3 and Omega 6, which are used during the active stage of the work. This saves the deposit of glycogen in the muscular mass and liver, and consequently the production of lactate during the nonactive stage. The result is an improvement of the muscular performance of the athletic horse. In the wheat germ oil, also octacosanol (octacosile alcohol) are present in small quantities, able to increase the resistance, force and reaction time and to improve de cardiovascular functions. DOSAGE: 30 to 90 ml. per day.
*Ergogenic - Ergogenic aids are any external influences that can positively affect physical or mental performance. These include mechanical aids, pharmacological aids, physiological aids, nutritional aids, and psychological aids. Ergogenic aids may directly influence the physiological capacity of a particular body system thereby improving performance, remove psychological constraints which impact performance, and increase the speed of recovery from training and competition. These can be as simple as water used before and after exercising to aid in hydration, to something as advanced as anabolic steroids.
OFFICINALIS PHILOSOPHY. It has been noticed that a grazing horse is generally healthier than a stabled horse. We have analysed the factors that determine this simple fact, and we have discovered that the herbs of the grazing field contain nourishing and healing substances that are fundamental for the well-being of the horse. Since that moment, our objective has been:CREATE A SUPPLEMENT TO THE NORMAL DIET OF A STABLED HORSE THAT PROVIDES THE BENEFICIAL SUBSTANCES OF THE GRAZING FIELD WITHOUT PUTTING OURSELVES ANY LIMIT TO OBTAIN THIS OBJECTIVE.
The natural habitat of a horse is grassland, hills, mountains, close to watersources: it is here that we find its natural feed: grass. We have therefore studied the herbs that compose the ideal grassland for horses, what they contain, the effect their main characteristics have and their periodicity. We have found grasses like fescue and Italian ryegrass, legumes like red clover, lucerne and many officinal herbs like tarassacco, mint, balm, nettle, camomile, mallow, sage, garlic etc. ANALYSING GREEN GRASS we have discovered that it is extremely rich of beta carotene, vitamin E and of all the vitamins lost in the liquid of the grass, of which vitamin B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, FOLIC ACID and VITAMIN C.
We have analysed the content of about 400 horse feeds and many samples of hay, and we have discovered that almost all of the feeds and hays do not contain enough of these vitamins that are fundamental and important for the horse. The officinal herbs that hay contains have resulted to lack active principles because of the dehydration by the sun and unsuitable conservation in the barns. Based on these studies, also confirmed by the NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTRE in the United States and the French institute I.N.R.A., the idea was born to create a phytopharmaceutical herboristic vitaminic supplement that completes the diet of the horse in a natural way, as if it was a grazing horse, creating various types of products according to the seasons or the different pathologies, in which the feed becomes a support to the healing process.
